    Hey Gang,
Anyone have a 2011 (honeycomb) inner grill - in great shape - just laying around?

Next question - are the 2011 inner & outter grille components the same as a 2007 (Size, tabs in the same place, etc)? In other words, has anyone taken a 2011 insert and installed it on a 2007 outter? (using Homer's method)

I have a damaged grille and was hoping to replace it with the honeycomb grille (I've seen Homer's videos). I can't find 2011 honeycomb grilles anywhere - including most toyota online stores I've searched. They all list them as 2005-2011 and look exactly like mine. I have a TRD SPORT... Is there a special truck package that had the honeycomb grille?

This is getting frustrating to find one of these.
    Thanks for the info!!

The 2011 grills will fit 2005-2010, just different looking. The honeycomb and single bar down the middle are 2011 specific, the only difference between package deals are the base, chrome, and colormatched outer part.

the centers are interchangable. Im going to switch my black one out for the base gray one to match the truck but there is a crack in it from someone trying to pull off the horns. your not that far from me if your ever down this way we can swap it out.

    Thanks!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. Having a hard time finding 2011 grill or insert. I can get a 2005-2011 grill (black OE replacement) for $53+ shipping but its an exact replacement to mine.

You put a 2011 grille on your 2010?
I saw a guy/dealer (?) selling 2011 grill assemblies for $199 plus $15 shipping. He only lists one BLUE color - and I don't know if its speedway blue or not. I emailed him....
YES! I like that look better than the original 2007 grille.

Got a picture of the crack? Do you think it can be Jb welded?

Here is the part number 53100-04450-c1. The C1 is for black. I bought this for 160.00.

This guy (ebay) has it for $199 plus $15 shipping.

I emailed him to ask about the 'blue' - I wanted to make sure it was 'Speedway Blue'

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2011-T...Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a1bbbdb23&vxp=mtr

    His response was...
You would medd to purchase the bracket kit also. I would need to know the
Last 8 numbers of your vin to check the color for you . Thanks

I didn't look, but the bracket kit would probably make it the same price as the other link.

I have my original 2011 grill. It was chrome and I tried painting it red to match but it came out like a turd so I just bought a color matched one.

Let me know if youre interested.

How's the color matching with the new grilles?

Has it been pretty close to factory? In other words- you guys who purchased painted grills (especially metallic colors) - how well did the grille match your truck?

I'm close to ordering off eBay but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

    Huntntruk,
Interested pending - If the color match is good, I'll probably just order off eBay and rid myself the hassle of cutting/melting tabs.
But, the verdict is still out!! I WILL keep you in mind!!

Mcdowel, THANK YOU for the part number. That made it a little easier to find!

Thanks for the link!! I talked to the seller (Parts Manager) on the phone today. Very nice guy.....

The other ebay ad I listed earlier ($6 cheaper) - I sent him my VIN number and he claimed I couldn't install the 2011 grille on my 2007. Yeah...Ok.

Looking forward to the new look!!!
    Thanks again everyone!!!

    Wooot Wooot!!
The grille came in, color matches perfectly, and the install was the easiest I've ever done on any modification to the truck.

    This is a 2011 grille on a 2007 truck.

If anyone is interested in a 2007 SWB color matched 'outter' only.....Inner part is damaged. Has a couple spots that I had to touch up (I can take closer picts).

    Here's some picts....
You've already seen the inner part - I'm not even considering this usable.

This is at the top near the rubber on the right side... 4 minor dings that I repaired with touch-up paint.

In the center, a spot/doink in the plastic.

Other than that, it is 5 years old and lots of bug splatter debris. The painted part could use a nice clean / buff. It was waxed earlier in the year.

The box it'll be shipped in is
    42.5" tall
    15" wide
    8.25" deep
Weight: approx 8lbs (using bathroom scale & myself with a little added for packing, etc).
