I bet, it looks so dialed. My truck has been at collision repair for the last 2 1/2 months and I finally got it back today. Living without my Taco sucked...

Beautiful build ! I genuinely do not mean to sound like a TW "troll " but one thing I noticed with your bumper that I am very curious about compared to the incredible details your fabricator is putting into the rest of the build - your front bumper does not appear to have any fabricated " horns " and only ties into one spot on the frame with one tube which is unusual. If you are unfamiliar with this concept the best way I can explain it would be to say imagine that you bumped into something with the top/front leading edge of your bumper - since the whole bumper is only tied into that one singular low location the bumper is going to easily fold back into the core support if it is hit...I hope that makes sense ? Again - beautiful build and the work is awesome... that is why the bumper surprised me.

Here is a quick sketch of what I am referring too, the tube with fat line down it is your only structural support for any frontal impact and it will fold easily where the vertical line is drawn at the base of the tube where it ties into the frame.

that issue is why off road tube bumpers are generally built with " horns " to provide that strength, here is a google image clip of what I am referring too, you can see how much more support the horn adds :

Hi Jason, You have a valid question. Thank you for looking at my build.:hattip: Far as the Front bumper frame horns are concerned the box style can be weaker then a tube style. This all comes down to material used (thickness of steel-chromoly-etc) and also the fabrication. Honestly the boxed frame horns on 99% of street trucks are just for looks and will still cave in under server front impact(the same as tube style) Personally I would want my front bumper to be the weak point as it was intended for, if not with a front impact its just going to keep bending stuff down stream(frame-etc) until it finds weak point. My fabricator and I have been involved with desert racing for the past 30+ years and have used that proven quality/fabrication into this build. I hope this answers why we decided to go this route in the build. I attached a couple pics of some builds with same front bumper thought process.

Got it, I think the reason it caught my eye is that due to the SAS work I noticed you are tying into just the approx 2"x4" end of the frame rail whereas the load is spread out / stabilized a bit more with the broader mounting surface from the OE set up...hope that makes sense ? and yes material quality absolutely matters ! and I agree about the species of SoCal street queen's :) It is clearly evident by the quality of the work being done ( wipes TIG drool off of chin ) that you guys know what you are doing so I'll just shut up now :)

Here is my overweight surf expo piggy , my buddy @jeffz0rz AKA JTA Metalfab down here in SD 3 linked for me last year we managed to fit 12" CO's under the bed w/ a sandwiched bolt through bed cage to support the CO towers and it pulls around 20" of travel ...just what everyone needs to go camping ;)

A little full droop action...I'm getting pretty excited as the front/rear bumper, sliders and hydraulic assist should be finished this week:) and everything that is getting powder coated sent out. Next week will be cleaning up the small stuff.
