I'll most likely be down for either. Don't have much planned for the summer except working.

The dates fall right around annual fishing trip with a bunch of friends down in idaho. put me down as tentative.

The trip location hasnt been fully decided upon just yet. The week of fishing can fall anywhere within the state of Idaho or damn near anywhere in Montana now since 2 of the group lives up here. The last couple years has been fly fishing for smallmouth. years before that it was chasing what was left of the Henry's Fork. This annual trip basically started in the early 90's at the Henry's Fork. It has a long history of scotch, and fly rods, and good friends. Theres a chance that this year could be pike fishing in the Great Falls area. It's hard to tell. I need to link up w/ my bud in Great Falls and do some scouting. There is soo much more fishing in the Northwest than just trout. Anyhow, not to hijack the MT Summer Meet thread.

Fishing would be cool! But that's probably just me. Or else somewhere we could hike to a mountain lake possibly???

I have some cool small lakes that you have to wheel to get to them. They are not super hard trails tho. fun. but nothing special

NO worries...most of us run stock and these trucks are our babies...our daily drivers so we don't go crazy. Ideally its just a good camping trip with some road time, some mountains and good TW people...

SO far June 11th seems to be in the lead. I hope to have at least the date set by the middle to end of April.

working on that. it depends on the weather really. will it be a typical MT spring with snow up to the 4th of July? Or will we see the sun soon?

A few people are. The Missoula guys are generally a little quieter on here though

I think that's why I love this part of the country...people generally keep to themselves, but are still extremely friendly and community oriented.

Bitejr has it pretty spot on. Me and lisa are very active posters on here though. I think that the majority of our members are just lurkers

Hell, I joined the forum last year and didn't post until 2 weeks ago! I usually found all the info I needed if I looked hard enough and never had to ask any questions. Then I just wanted to share my misery after this happened:

...it's all better now though. I got her back from the body shop last Friday. I'll upload new pics this weekend.
