You are right....I'll just lick my wounds and wait.....I really wish VT would have gone into the SEC. It would have only made VT stronger/better foorball program....The ACC back in the day was a powerhouse conference, with FL State and Miami etc....But I will admit the SEC is the powerhouse now...touche.

Yea. We sucked last year. But...we still didn't lose to James Madison.

Just give it some time and the power will shift to the next division.... Hopefully ACC again...

That is just how it works.

and I cant wait to see all the SEC guys chirp in with their typical useless jabber of how they are the elite...

I think y'all could do some damage in the SEC. It's a tough conference to win every year, so you wouldn't do that (like nobody does in the SEC), but y'all would do well and you'd be a game on the schedule that'd be circled for most teams.

ACC needs the FL schools and Clemmer to step up again to gain respect.

WE'RE THE BEST AT EVERYTHING! Sit down in the back seat and deal with it.

No, I'm not really one of those guys. In my OPINION, we're the best right now in football, but these things come in cycles. We'll see how it goes this year and the next and the next.

I think the next power will be the Big 10, but I base that on nothing, really.

I was going to say Pac 10 or Big 12 but it is impossible to say for certain.

I can't argue w/ Big 12, but PAC 10 will be rebuilding for a while. USC's recovery will take a while (especially if they keep Kiffin), and Oregon might get punched by the NCAA soon, too. Those have been the big programs out there recently.

Honestly, I don't expect the SEC to be on top for more than 3-5 seasons, if that.

I'll agree. The SEC's run is probably coming to an end. 5 straight NCs ain't bad, though. I can see us gettin another 3 in the next 5 years.

Yeah, and having 6 NCs in the past 10 years definitely says something about the SEC.

All the talk about the SEC not being the "number 1 conference" in the up and coming years im calling bullshit. The recruiting has been just too good to not be the best for at least another 4 years
