    OU fan in critical condition after knifefight with Texas fan

    A knifefight stemming from an argument over college football resulted in an Oklahoma fan and a Texas fan being hospitalized in San Antonio, according to a TV station.

    KENS reports a fight broke out at an Applebee's restaurant just before midnight Monday between the two men and the OU fan pulled a knife and attacked the Texas fan.

    During the struggle, the OU fan was stabbed with his own blade and hospitalized in critical condition, according to the report. The Texas fan also was stabbed and was in stable condition.

    In 2007, an OU fan and a Texas fan were involved in a barfight in Oklahoma City. Assault and battery charges against the OU fan were dropped in 2008.
