    ^^^ I don't follow recruiting very closely, but isn't he the one that's going to try his hand at baseball for a while first? He might not be on the football field for a while, if at all. Hate losing a recruit, but it happens. I wish him the best.

    It's not an exact science anyway... Texas was #4 last year and didn't make a bowl. The two teams in the NC game started out #11 and #23 (I think) last year, too.

    Six Alabama opponents are on the list: LSU (4), Arkansas (14), Auburn (19), MSU (20), Florida (23) and Penn State (25).

    I am a die hard Georgia fan, but I don't see why we even made the top 25 after last year. I think we can quickly earn our way up but we have a lot to prove.

    yes thats the one that has all the baseball offers. he's more of a stand out in baseball. thats what sucks about that rule. they can go play baseball in the minors and then come back and play football.

    Yea...I don't see why we're in the top 25 either. I could see us hoppin into the poll after we knock off BS and SC hopefully...i'm kinda worried about SC honestly, but I don't think we deserve to be in it as of now. I can see FSU bein ranked, but not #5. Don't think Notre Dame should be up ther either. Texas doesn't deserve to be anywhere CLOSE to the top 25 yet.

    Whatever...it's the preseason rankings...it'll be completely different after Sept 3. I can't freakin wait.

    ND always starts off highly ranked and then falters! cant understand why they are always ranked so high preseason.

    IMO the 1st poll shouldnt come out till week 3 or 4!!!!!
