    correct...both are known as "Death Valley"

    wrong (i think)

    LSU's was originally "Deaf Valley" for obvious reasons
    Clemson's was nicknamed by a coach of an opposing school in the 50s because his teams always got killed there

    since 1991...pretty much...although we've lost more "big" games on the road

    While Clemson CLEARLY has not enjoyed the recent successes as many other big schools...we do have a pretty respectable history

    And unless it's changed in the last couple years...we broke LSU's record 121db outdoor stadium noise level in our 2005 game against Miami with 126db...and then surpassed that in 2006 against Georgia Tech with 130db

    I will not argue that we do not sustain the noise like many other stadiums...but we CAN bring it in the stands :p



    oh...and im expecting even less this year than our less than mediocre season last year

    They're fluff, but they do mean something. If the #2 team loses a game early, they might drop to #10... keep winning and they can climb back up and be in position to play for a BCS bowl or the NC at the end of the year. If you're ranked #24 and lose early and drop all the way out, it's not as easy.

    They don't mean shit as far as who is actually better, but I'd rather go into the season #2 than #19 or something...


    More than a lot of teams have.
