aggie cant take the pressure of being the little brother any more. Have fun with them in the SEC. I say good riddance and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
If you want some real entertainment and a taste of what your getting search youtube for aggie cheerleaders.

Eh. 12 teams is enough. Maybe we can get rid of Vandy and pick up a&m. If they don't like being the "little brother", wait til they're just...nobody in the SEC.

Don't gotta worry about that...they'll choke on the cock like always and not win the East.

I don't look for Florida or Georgia to be down as much as they were last season.....not even gonna mention the West side, they are full of talent.

I have to admit I haven't had much expectation for this year with my Dawgs, but the more I keep reading about practices the more pumped I get. I get the same feelings like this every year but the big difference this year that I'm hearing is the new strength and conditioning. Sounds like they are whipping these boys into much better shape than the past. I look for some growing pains early but with the new talent to come on strong as the year goes on. Ironically 2 of our toughest games are right out of the gate.

Also the fact that we haven't had the players getting in trouble this year, thank God and knock on wood.

This team sounds focused and despite what some are saying Richt is feeling the heat and is coaching harder. Gives me the feel of 2001 when he took over.

    GO DAWGS!!!

This aggie shit is really heating up.

    http://content.usatoday.com/communi.../texas-a38m-regents-meeting-big-12-move-sec/1

SO the aggies called a regents meeting for the 22nd to decide on moving to the SEC.

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/andy_staples/08/12/texas-am-sec/

Then the Higher Education Committee of the state's House of Representatives scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, Aug. 16.They asked the aggie regents to attend and also invited reps from the other schools to weigh in.

Well not to be out done the aggies in their infinite wisdom decided to move their meeting to monday the 16th.

To me this is like a marriage. The husband tells the wife. "hey i'm going to have a few drinks with my friends this weekend."
The wife says "thats fine honey, have fun."
And then when the husband gets home the wife files for divorce because he went out drinking with his friends.

Aggie knew the longhorn network was coming and agreed to it. And now that its actually happening they want a divorce.

This is going to get real ugly over the next week. Reports out of Austin are saying if aggie leaves Texas will sever all ties with them going so far as to refusing to play any sports against them.

They seem to be more focused this year. The only off field stuff we've had is King and Ealey leaving the team. Alec Ogletree moved to LB from S this offseason, and Richard Samuel moved back to RB from LB, so we'll still have some experience at RB until Crowell takes over. From what I've read about practices, Crowell is running really physical, even in practice. I like a good physical back...as long as he can stay healthy. He's a freshman, so I guess he's got somethin to prove in practice. I'm good with that as long as he doesn't get hurt. Maybe our D will step up on the pass coverage this year...

Oh yea....maybe Bobo will learn how to call plays.

FSU is also in talks to join up...

Interesting article...as an FSU fan that would be interesting to see.

however...Oklahoma and Oklahoma state names being thrown around...kinda odd for the SOUTHEASTERN CONFERENCE. Even texas is a bit west...oh well..could be interesting

If they move into the SEC West, and Texas decided to stop playing them at anything, they'd probably criticize you for doing so.... but deep down they'd be grateful, b/c why would they want to get their asses handed to them by an out of conference powerhouse when they're getting it handed to them week in and week out in their own division. Having to play Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Arkansas every year would be tough enough.

Still... Isn't refusing to play them at anything just as bitch-baby as them leaving the conference? I'd think it would be better to just keep dominating them.
