its not o'brian's fault. ole tom waited all spring for russel to figure out what he wanted to do. time went by, had to let him go - i understand that. what i don't understand is that if russel was going to leave State, why he went to another college. and to whoever that other guy is, despite how good he is, he's not going to win Wisconsin a championship i promise. He should have just stayed or gone to baseball, not sell out.

On another note...UGA RB Caleb King is academically ineligible. I don't think anyone's overly upset about that, though. Washaun Ealey is gone (he couldn't hold onto the ball anyway), now King is gone (Only had like 400 yards last year anyway), so it looks like Crowell will be our starter...

No offense but y'all are gonna have to pull off wins against Auburn, Kentucky, and MSU back to back to back, playing MSU in Starkville (might be a good game, for MSU that is ) Tennessee, Arkansas, and Florida back to back to back later on, the first two being away games. On top of that y'all will be playing Georgia as your second game. It doesn't seem like all that easy a schedule, good luck with your hearing.

 

I was at the spring game and Ken Malcome looked pretty impressive also. So it's not like we should be hurting at RB. The biggest thing I hate about loosing King is the fact that these two know they will be the starters now. Would like to keep the competition level higher to keep each of them motivated. The thing that impressed me with Malcome is that he didn't go down when he hit the line, he kept driving. Haven't seen much of that here lately.

I've already given my opinion...whoever wins the Cocktail Party will win the East, then *probably* lose to the winner of the West (I hope not, but they seem to be the better side of the conference the last couple years, top to bottom).

 

I don't think King would have been the starter anyway. Maybe for the first game or two, but if he hasn't improved much from last year, I don't think he would have been able to keep the job. Crowell seems to be another Knowshon: shifty AND runs over people. Of course, that's just going off of videos I've seen of him, which is of course in HS. We'll see how he fares in the best conference in college football.

 

Yeah I agree but just don't want them to get complacent.
