Not watching but how about the Falcons trading up to get Julio Jones? I was hoping for AJ Green but that will work too.

    getting there....
oh hell yeah.....my Lions made a hell of a pick!!! now....we gonna have Fairley and Suh side by side!!! bring on the o-lines.....any of them!!

and the Panthers picked up Scam Newton with their #1 pick. boooooo

i wish they woulda traded up for next years number one and picked Andrew Luck then. hell....Ryan Mallet woulda been a better pick then Newton. he's gonna be a damn flop.

Crappy Bengals made a decent pick. AJ Green is a very good WR.

Would've preferred Carolina took Marcell Dareus, but meh, no point in looking back now.

I was talkin with a co-worker today about how sick our offense would be if we put AJ on one side, Roddy on the other side, and Turner in the backfield. Julio is good, but injuries scare me with him, even though he tends to play through them. I'd rather have AJ, but JJ works.

I thought so too. I figured if they were gonna move up that far they'd at least go for a good defensive player, like Peterson.

I hope Scam is a bigger flop than Ryan Leaf. But yea, the Lions are gonna have a HECK of a defensive line. Suh and Fairley? Maybe Fairley will play a little cleaner in the NFL...

Decent pick? They made a heck of a pick. AJ is a GREAT receiver. At least in College...I know the NFL is a different game, but I think he can lead up to the hype as long as he has someone to throw to him. That's one of the times when you don't go on what you need, you pick the best available player.

I feel like MOT quoting so many people

On another note, how about 7 of the top 15 picks bein SEC guys? :D

The Bears are stupidly lucky that Carimi was still on the board, given their fuckup. He's a solid pick, not a superstar but tough and reliable. His weakness is speed edge rushers though, which is a plus for us....Matthews will eat his lunch.
I'm OK with GB getting Sherrod. He may not be a Pouncey, but what I'm hearing is that he's smarter than shit and a hella hard worker.
Ponder to the Queens makes me giggle. Couldn't have done it better myself. They're early frontrunners in the 2012 Luck-a-thon now, shoulder to shoulder with Carolina.
The Lions getting Fairley really makes me worry. We're going back to ye olde Black and Blue Division football now. NFC north is going to be a bloodbath. Hell, you could plug *me* in there with Fairly, Suh, and VdB and you'd still be in the top half of the league. The Lions are legitimately scary now. Stafford stays healthy for once with those offensive weapons and they're challenging the Pack and Bears for the division crown soon.
The other one that really makes me go "huh?" is Carpenter. I'm just not liking that pick more and more. Look, I get that more good olinemen is a good problem to have, but they have way too many other more important needs....say fucking QUARTERBACK? Nah, Whitehurst FTW! *facepalm

2 Mizzou picks in the Top 10! Sweet.

I was downright floored by Locker going #8. Tennessee must know that their line is going to be fucking awful for the next couple of years, so they have to go with a QB that can throw on the run.

After 4 years of watching Jake Locker, I am shocked he went in the First Round at all.

I'm in football withdrawal so the draft and free agency keeps me going until preseason. Got to have it.
