    I’m throughly confused.
As the test results you posted previously, have you showing power to pin 5.
    And now, Nothing?

Has this truck been in any sort of wreck OP? That can always turn diagnosing into a nightmare.

    Yeah.
Check all the grounds maybe? I haven't seen that mentioned, but tests show that at least some grounds appear to be good, at least good enough to get a test light to turn on.

No. The truck never been in a wreck. My brother is the original owner. He neglects his truck until it’s needs fixing. Idk how often he up keeps his car. But I checked out and coolant looks fine.

We need to confirm power to Pin # 5 when cranking to go any further.
I suppose doing as @HondaGM said, and jumping power directly to pin 3 is an option.
But, if it works, we’re back to pin 5.

If jumping power to pin 3 as @HondaGM said, results in NO power to the smaller wire on the starter.
We’re going to need to look at the EB1 connector. But we are getting way ahead of ourselves at this point.

I don't disagree with what he has to check but what he should do before that is check alt 120/ 140 fuse before anything because he did mention he hasn't checked it and if that's smoked of course relays won't get the powers they need when they need them.

Based on the way his brother described his truck lost power and then wouldn't crank after he shut it off indicates to me that he is having an alternator circuit causing issue at the root of this headache.

    I know it sounds redundant.
But check power to pin 5 - Again.

This shouldn’t be too hard to diagnose.
I believe we are are all lost in confusion at the moment.

    I say, we start fresh.
1 step at a time. I’ll keep an eye on this thread.
    Let’s go step by step.

The alternator was replaced within the past 6 months. And I will check the fuse when I get home.

Does the large starter wire have power? There are two wires one big one and a smaller one. A jumper between the two should crank the engine key on or off. If it does back to the small wires. Leave the key off for this test so if it does start it won't run over you.

I agree. Sometimes it is good to reset and start all over again because it's too easy to get wrapped up in the complex nature of diagnosing when the issue is staring at you right in the face.

I'm not necessarily concerned about the physical alternator yet. Just the fuse for it and every other fuse tied to the starting/ charging circuits given how it went from losing power to suddenly not even wanting to crank at all.
