2011 not starting. no crank no click

    It’s a new starter and we we jump pin 3-5 on the sta relay it was cranking

    Ok I was double checking everything and notice the starter signal wasn’t plugged in. ‍♂️ my bad. But anyways plugged it in and it cranked but not start

    Ok so it cranks with the park/neutral switch jumped but not with it plugged in correct?

    You can replace it but it can be a real pain to replace especially if your in an area where they salt the roads.

    It's typically called the transmission range switch or park/neutral position switch, I don't know the Toyota part number for it though.

    You’re in Hawaii right? Otherwise I would say go OEM for how much of a bitch replacement can be. You still have super salty air. The transmission shaft likes to fuse itself to the part where it goes in the switch

    That switch has to be set correctly when it is installed, there should be an alignment mark on it. I'll see if I can find and post the installation procedure.
