On my center dash I have the passenger airbag On/Off and what looks to be an airbag warning light. The “airbag” light stays illuminated no matter if someone is in the seat or not. This is a warning or faulty light correct ? I can’t find any documentation on this system , very frustrating

    Welcome to Tacoma World!
FWIW it did the same on my '09 and now my '14. I think mine even flashes now but have ignored it for so long it has become oblivious.

Likely needs to be recalibrated. Sometimes a big bounce or pot hole can remove the calibration on the weight sensor on the passenger front seat. Very common.

No weight in the seat. I’ll have to figure out how to re-cal the sensor

It’s not the On / Off indication it’s the to the right of that.
