i'm interested in this as well i don't like crazy bass just distortion free cheap bass that is if i had my druthers in a self contained package. i will search out some i thought abut those flat woofers that we could mount under both of the front seats and keep the instal looking clean and also keep the little space we do have behind the seat.

I agree! With today's shallow mount subwoofers, it's easier than it's ever been to get a good sounding sub behind the seat of a reagular cab!!

also I am 6'2" and i have plenty of legroom. If you want the Cool factor get a box custom fitted. If you don't care then get a basic box that will somehow fit back there.

thank you everyone for your help. I was just having a hard time figuring out what to do about the jack assembly and the seat belt. I will start by trying a truck box and go from there.
