No he didn't, he even said"I came into that corner the same way I did every lap, and just lost the front end." That corner was terrible there was loam on top of ice. Villi had stewart covered, he knows it, and stewie knows it. This season is going to kick ass! Too bad about K-Dub though huh? He was crushing. I give it two more rounds before #41 the Duck gets a win.

Villopoto looked real good again. I wonder if anything is going to come of the sensor on Stewarts rear tire?

Couldn't have said it better. So I pressed the button.
One thing they didn't talk about was JGR's rear holeshot device. That would suck if it turned out they were running traction control. Listen to Pulp Mx Show tomorrow night, and DMXS radio on Wednesday for some answers.

It doesn't sound like he was running anymore traction control than the other top teams, but he was running a sensor on his wheel for data collecting. You don't need a wheel sensor for TC it can all be run in the computer so why would they advertise it publicly. Chad Reed said that all the big teams run what could be considered TC through their programmable engine mapping and custom trannys, but the AMA rules are so vague and their testing is so bad that there is a huge gray area. What blew it out of control was stupid Aron Beights asking James that retarded question on the podium. Give the guy a fu@#$$# break, last week he got on the podium his first race back and she asked him what happened. WHAT HAPPENED he finished better than 99% of field in the first race of season, thats what happened you stupid bitch. Give the guy a break and at least watch him ride, if you're a fan of the sport you can't not be a fan of James Stewart. :jerkoff:

Well said. I'd like to see her do a triple. Lol. I wonder if she has predetermined questions she is supposed to ask.

good video but listen to 1:40, RC "I don't know what they are using it for", then Jeff "it could be for any type of data acquisition." Then just because it sparked interest it becomes the first question you ask the winner on live TV. Get down there and interview a mechanic, or a team manager some one who might have something useful to say. Talk to Larry Brooks and J-Bone don't ask the guy who's had his heart rate pinned for the last 20 laps and is trying to celebrate being back on top after a shit season and an even shittier reality show(sorry James but come the F on). And I was wrong in my post earlier, they are using custom ignition timings to run TC no wheel sensor needed, all the big boys are using it. Chad Reed says he runs it. The thing that drives me crazy is that the AMA has no way to test for it because they leave the rules so vague. Once the AMA learns to correctly measure bore and stroke then they can start analyzing the data the team collects to see if they are controlling power output and wheel spin. If there is a production rule, then there probably shouldn't be a two pound computer strapped to the side of the bike. Trust me do a little research listen to some podcasts and interviews with the riders, they have no control of what parts go on there bikes. It's not up to them , like when Ricky got his points back in 04 even though his team was running leaded gas. They are all going against the "idea" of the rules, a class of 40 riders on production motorcycles, but they go through giant loopholes left by an unfit sanctioning body.

sorry for the rant Toyota :taco:'s rule

Ask your neighbor the AMA superbike mech to explain to us all about traction control he could do a hell of a lot better than me. I dropped out of MMI

Im not baggin on stewart in any way. I was just messing... but really the guy won. Either way im suprised the ama didnt take some kind of action... i thought it stated in the rules your not aloud running any kind of sensor on the front or back wheel... im not sure tho. I never liked stewart just because of the cocky attitude but like it was stated... he is good!
