2011 Taco right release brake breakage

    Anyone else have issues with this? I took it into an independent Toy mechanic and he shared that this is a recall issue, but have called into two dealerships w/ no luck.

    I've been told it's a crack/break in my right rear release brake.

    I think your "Independant Toy Mechanic" might have meant that it "should be " a recall. As far as I know there are no recalls for brakes on the Tacoma Trucks.

    Go here: https://www.toyota.com/recall

    Type in your VIN ( vehicle identification number ) and it will tell you what recalls etc are applicable to your specific truck.
