    $650 between the 5-lugger and a pre-runner double cab 2.7L/AT .... for that small difference I would just go with the pre-runner

    yeah, cause honestly if you are going to get the 5-lugger to go ahead and change wheels & tires... well there is the $650 you could have used to get the pre-runner, which sits higher, better suspension and although it comes with steel wheels, I do find they are not bad looking compared to the 5-lugger steel wheels.

    I hope that particular model is available here (certain models are not available here :( ), I wouldn't mind trading up for that one.

    The smaller Double Cab might have advantages for certain folks, i.e. Older people, or those with disabilities. Some people have a terrible time getting in and out of a Prerunner because of its higher ground clearance.

    Might be easier to load/unload cargo in the bed.

    Smaller tires will be cheaper to replace.
