So I am pretty sure that my fuel filler flap that covers the fuel inlet broke due to my rotopax nozzle. Can anyone confirm that their 2011 tacoma has that particular flap and if it not being present is an issue?

Just in case I am not naming the part correctly its the small metal disc/flap that covers the entry point where you insert your fuel nozzle to fill gas.

*I swear there was one there before, but after using my rotopax there is no longer one there.

    Thanks in advance!

There wasn’t one on the 2013 and 2014 trucks I have driven.
Nor is there one on my 2007.

I do not think they ever had them.

Thanks fellas- strange how something so ridiculously small can occupy your mind!
