2011 Tacoma Issues

I have some issues with my 2011 Tacoma Double Cab. If anyone knows how to fix these or solve these issues please comment. I have called the Toyota dealership where I bought the truck from and seen how I have 50k on the truck they wont touch it without me paying for the repair.

1) Blower switch now has two settings - Off and High. Worked fine 2 weeks ago, now it does not work. Called the dealership and they said bring it in and we will take a look at it for the cheap low price of around 100 bucks.

2) Radio randomly shuts on and off, and gets loud and quiet at random times.

Those are the only two issues I think I can fix by myself. The others I have fixed are:

1) Chirping blower motor - Replaced 3 times at dealership, didnt want to waste another 90min for them to replace another.
2) Bed cover they installed - was over a year warranty so they wouldnt touch it - velcro coming up from tracks.

I also have the issue a a headlight housing that has hairline cracks all over it. and the dealership wont replace it because they say someone hit me (which I Know no one did).

I am beginning to think Toyota's "Toyota Care" Program is a bunch of BS. But that is just me.

Any help on the blower issue and radio would be greatly appreciated!

 

have you done any type of electrical work to the truck recently?? like exterior lights etc?

Thanks for the thread for the blower motor resistor. I will try that later this week! I couldnt find a tread relating to the issue before.

As for electrical done to the car I just installed an automatic start about a year ago with no issues. And this radio on off issue just started about 2 months ago.
