    No, they don’t. Maybe they don’t fit your needs, but mine works great for what I need,

    No PreRunners are 4WD and they do not blow. They do exactly what they are designed to do.

    That's what I said. No PreRunners are 4WD(4WD = Four wheel drive). They all have 4 wheels.

    Since you're probably not buying this truck, it might be fun anyway to ask for pictures of the transfer case and front CV axles for "confirmation".

    Screw pictures. Have some real fun by taking a test drive with the owner and telling him you want to see the "4WD" in action by taking it into some mud. After about 5 mins of spinning the rear tires aimlessly going nowhere, just get out of the truck and tell him you'll think about it. Then catch an Uber back.

    I also read it the other way at first, we should use more commas. Also technically there are 4x4 Prerunners but those are all conversions. I got my Prerunner from my grandpa so I plan on converting it in a couple years after I graduate from college. For now it does great on almost everything I’ve asked from it, it handles camping great and can even make it through some off-roading if I’m careful. The only thing it struggles with are wet roads :rofl:

    The same shit everyone else has.
    Holy fuck.

    Prerunner = 2wd 6 lug truck.

    You can get a prerunner as an SR5, TRD Sport, or TRD Off-road.

    The packages are the same as the 4wd trucks save for the front drivetrain/diff/tcase.

    An OR will have a rear Elocker on both versions - 4wd or prerunner.

    The amount of misinformation in here is scary.

    Op, if you don’t have a 4wd selector on the dash and it’s a 6 lug truck, it’s a prerunner. You can also crawl under it and see if there’s a front diff, tcase, axles, driveshaft, etc.

    Stop the madness!

    If you're a fan of off-road racing, chances are you're familiar with the term "pre-runner." Specifically, this refers to any type of vehicle used by a team to run the race course in advance of the actual event itself, to get a lay of the land and figure out the best strategy to use during actual competition.
