Is there any difference between a 2011 rear end and an 05? I was told that the 2011 had something different about it. What brand gear is suggested? For both value and longevity. What's the average price to regear for both parts and labor? I know labor is different based on where you go.. but a rough guesstamite...

Are you PreRunner or 4x4? And 2.7L Four or V6 power? More variety of ratios are available for the 2WD. With 35" tires 4.30 or 4.56 should be fine. If all on road you could suffer along with the stock 3.73 ratio, but a regear will bring the zip back into your truck.
