2011 Tacoma Startup Cyclic Noise

    Hi Everyone,

    I have a 2011 v6 Taco Double Cab TRD with an automatic transmission. On startup, after it hasn't been running for several hours, I hear a cyclic knocking. Sometimes I cant notice it and other times its quite obvious. If I drive and increase the RPM the noise frequency follows proportionally. If I had to guess maybe its the clutch or maye my oil pump isn't working well?

    The Taco has 46,000 miles. The dealership has never mentioned anything after asking them to listen for it.

    Also I'm out of Warranty now. What's your consensus on extended warranty?
