I’m in the purchase process of a 2011 TRD TX 4x4 and I looked at the engine bay and it seems a part is missing. I can’t figure out what that part is.

    Any ideas?

I bought my 2010 TRD new and it had nothing mounted there. I mounted an ammo can on the studs for extra storage.

Don't freak out just yet that you are missing the ABS module that would normally mount there. If yours is an "offroad", then you have an electric brake booster with integrated ABS over where the brake master cylinder is. Vehicles with vacuum brake booster have an ABS module mounted in that location.

thank you all. I ended up buying the truck thanks in part to your feedback. I was worried someone had done a major brake mod. It turns out, she runs like a dream.
