2011 TRD SC on 2013 4.0?

My boys are getting old enough to get into working on the cars with me. We've been doing basic maintenance on the truck and now we're getting into more advanced work to improve performance.

Two questions:
1 - Can we take the TRD supercharger off a 2011 truck and install it on a 2013?

2 - If time were no issue, could we do this ourselves?

Realizing this is on the very ambitious side of things, if I've got access to the parts I'd be crazy not to ask right?

 

Yes. The 2nd gen tacoma supercharger fits year 05-15. The only thing you would need is to get the 2013 ECU flashed with the TRD S/C. This can be done by one of our member here JustDSM.

 

If you change your mind for whatever reason, I’ll take that supercharger been looking for one for a while for my 05 Tacoma
