I rarely use my horn as it is, but I had to make a correction. To someone who was merging into my lane and I layer on my horn. I think my horn has gone out, I checked the fuse and it looks fine, even changed it out. I cant think of any other thing I could be. Any suggestions?

Clock spring? Pretty common on these trucks and well documented on this site.

Your cruise control still working? If not, then 99% it's the clock spring.

Push the horn button and turn the steering wheel back and forth. If the horn honks at any point in the rotation, it is 100% the spiral cable. Even if it doesn’t honk, it could still be the spiral cable. Further diagnostics is necessary at that point.

95% the clock spring. You can get aftermarket ones from autozone or O'Reilly's or you can get one from Toyota for about triple the price. Oem ones are more preferable

Unplug the horn , grab a test light , push the horn button if the light comes on replace the horn if not more than likely the clock spring.

    YEP. Clockspring/spiral cable.

Just replaced mine with an OEM part from Longo Toyota. Not cheap but I’m not putting an airbag in the hands of an eBay cheapie.

If it isn’t covered it’s a Pretty easy fix. There is a decent pictorial “how-to” on TW.
