Just purchased a 2011 Sport and love it. My only problem is so does everyone else. I keep finding people hanging all over it. One guy was trying to fiddle with the power plug in the bed. Pissed me off...Anyway does anyone know what kind of alarm system would work best with the Tacoma? Looking at my key remote I seem to have some sort of panic alarm already, can this be adapted to serve as an alarm?

haha welcome man! alot of people will look at it.

and the panic button only does anything when you push it, i've tried to set off the alaram without pushing it and it wont, so if you want something that'll do anything it will have to be aftermarket
but i do not know of anyones that will work

I have a viper.. Not that happy with the two way remote. But that seems to be all that gives me a problem.
