I'm a long time reader and have learned so much from TacomaWorld, thought I should finally post some photos of my ongoing build. I bought a used 2011 TRD Sport with manual transmission and about 90,000 miles on it 2 1/2 years ago. Have been busy building it out and like so many on here has been a learning process and lot of work.

Some of the work I've done myself but living in busy city of NYC without a garage and on street parking, its difficult to get out into the street and work on it. Have been lucky to find crew at The Custom Shop in Astoria Queens. They've taken a great deal of time and care in building out truck. Part of a great community there and they run trips out to NJ Pine Barrens as well as overlanding in North East. Some Tacomas in shop, FJ60's, other cruisers and a lot of built Jeeps, always fun to talk to other guys about what they're doing.

Would love to know thoughts on build, any questions for others starting down similar road or just general comments. I'm not much for posting things and horrible about writing back emails so will try to respond if any comments and if none, will just keep on working. I'll post more images of build later, and will look for some videos I have.

Started with stock 2011 TRD Sport, Manual Transmission, chose because of bigger wheels and larger rear diff would accommodate ARB locker. Also liked fake hood scoop.

Thank you for all greetings and yes! I'll check out section on North East, some friends got rigs pretty dirty in Pine Barrens over weekend but always looking for new spots especially upstate New York.
