I just think it's stupid that companies are coming out with these "Texas" edition trucks. Texas is the only state to get their own edition? I see guys driving Texas Edition Tundra's in Louisiana, it makes me lol.

I also think that people are jealous of the TX's. There obviously better looking than the regular TRD's.... And by gullible do you mean smarter? You don't have to buy aftermarket rims, or pay to have to have them mounted and balanced, and it already comes with the popular TRD exhaust. Even if you don't want the wheels or exhaust you can sell them for a pretty penny. And whoever thinks that people are actually paying the sticker price for the TX package isn't very good at buying cars. I could of gotten a TX and only payed 100 more than any Tacoma TRD they had on the lot.....

But hey what do I know, it's only my second post. :D

Its just that Louisiana isn't good enough to have their own truck. :D

First of all I agree with you on the tube steps, there worthless for offroading. I didn't buy the TX right then was because I think I can get a even better deal on it, plus some OEM goodies. Does that answer suffice?

TX Pro has the full TRD exhaust so whoever it was that said it was a chrom tip was alittle misinformed... I love the mine, even with stock tires I have had a great time in the snow that we just got.

How many threads are there going to be bashing the TX Pro?

We should just congratulate the OP on buying a Tacoma. Sheesh

Why every time someone with a Tx comes on here, everyone rants about what a terrible package. I'm sure the OP really doesn't give f**k what you think, and is excited about his new truck. Just say congrats and GTFO! Once again OP nice truck. Hope you are happy with it and is everything YOU wanted.

If someone wants to bad mouth a truck, dont fucking post! The value of an option package is determined by the person foottin the bill for it.

They should atleast put BFG A/Ts on the TxPro.

The T/X doesn't stand for Texas. (I'm not sure exactly what it DOES stand for, but I saw in a another thread it is for "Tacoma Extreme")

There is actually a Texas Edition Tacoma. It comes with the 20" chrome wheels and a Borla exhaust. In other states, it is called the TSS edition.

The TX Pro is a sick package for those that want the exaust/rims/decals right off the lot. Love those rims BTW. If I can afford that package in the future, I will definately be getting it. I personally think its piss-poor of people lurking on here every day and bashing other trucks. Guess what, nobody gives a shit that you dont like sports/offroads/base/txpro/atrac. I know that I have been guilty of losing it on this forum due to so many know it all A-holes with the whole I'm right your fucking wrong attitude, so I just avoid posting. But when someone comes on here showing off their new ride, and others immediately start off by telling him/her that they got a shitty deal....well thats just shitty.

Thats a sweet ride OP, and its totally worth the extra dough if you got it.
Now, about the snowboarding up on teton pass today.....HOLY SHIT!!:yay: Thats all.....

I see the TSS edition here all the time. Toyota Sport Series? I see those Texas Edition Tundra's and i really don't see that much of a difference between the regular ones. There's prob a difference interior wise, but exterior there is not a big difference except the badges. Ford has the King Ranch Edition F series with that red/orange color and the Cow Hide leather.
Ok ok im not gonna thread jack the OP anymore, nice truck!!!
