    agreed, don't give up being financially wise to just get a newer thing. I love my taco, but than again its just a tool. f-150s can be good, just make sure to talk everything through with the other half ;) in the end its your money

    That said, keep the F-150 until it becomes a financial burden (breaking down) and then buy a Tacoma would be an option. Gives time to shop around and may as well get your money’s worth out of the Ford.

    I have a 2014 TRD sport long bed with tow package. It will do it but it will work and your gas mileage will plummet to that of a Tundra. How often are you going to be towing?
    Frankly my buddies new tundra gets better gas mile than my tacoma at 75+ mph and he has way more power to maintain speed

    I would tow that 3600 LBS from here to hell and back. That's a light trailer. Mine is 4500 to 5000 loaded and I have no problem going a few hours away with that. It's all about expectations and when towing, you should expect the mileage to suck and you should expect to feel the weight behind you.
