Can the new 2012-2013 touchscreen stick radios mount and wire correctly into 05-11 models?!

No, the 12+ radios are slightly different than the previous years because of the new dash...it can fit in there..but it won't line up perfectly.

Hmm, know of anyone that's tried or fabricated it to work and loom good?

I would just go aftermarket. I have the '13 touch screen radio and the screen is really small and I don't like it. Getting ready to change it.

Hm, true man but I'm not looking to get subs or anything for a long time and just like the clean look of the 2013!

Would you rather a 40" flat screen? Maybe a projected with a drop down screen?

    Lol, this makes me laugh

Haha I see where you're coming from but the screen is probably the smallest one out there.

You can try an OttoNavi. They make one for the Tacomas and it looks stock. It will also fit in your truck. Another member did a review of it here with lots of pictures. You can buy it here on Amazon.

I got 2014 Entune touchscreen w/NAV and APP Suite on my 08. Not 100% flush, but the damn thing looks good.

If you want, I could PM you some pics of different angle of the HU.

I am looking to replace the stock JBL in my 2007 with a touchscreen head unit. Does anyone know if a non-JBL touchscreen unit will work?

    Thanks
