2012-2015 "Ghost Raptor" mesh kit.

I make this M4 kit as plain mesh without the letters embossed. One could easily buy the letters from Jerry and do what you are referring to.

 

Im the same way... I check it everytime I walk by it... and probably 50 percent of the time it needs pushed in. I think this also contributed to the whistling to some degree. im thinking I need to somehow secure those tabs at the bottom of the whole surround on the corners. They're also the first to pop out when I removed the surround from the truck.

My initial thoughts on it, are that with hacking out the plastic inner piece, it lost its rigidity, and then installing the mesh and securing it in place may have bent or warped the shape of it ever so slightly that it doesn't stay in quite as well as it did... again... I'm going to look into securing it somehow... maybe a cotter pin through the tab once its in?

 

That is also something that, as homer puts it, something we might chime in about. you might not want to make that cut in the mesh there where that bolt is where he put the plastic "washer" in the first picture... Unless im missing something its just a spot where it could be bolted down with factory screws, but its missing on both sides. just my 2 cents, and trying to help.

I tried realigning it again, but it still keeps on popping out. Also, the top part where the hood and grill meet seems to not be lining up properly either. It's a little higher than it was before I installed the grill.
The cotter pin sounds like it'd be a good idea. I was thinking of just drilling a hole in the tab and zip-tying it onto something. lol.

 

I want one of these kits, so how can I get them? I live in Hawaii and want to know how much shipping would be if you do ship here to hawaii.

Just got mine today, got the outer portion of my grill line-x'd . Ill post pictures tomorrow, no pictures of it actually on my truck til I get it back from the body shop next week

 

For the guys that are having trouble with the grill/frame sitting right, loosen the bottom torx screws by 1/8 to 1/4 turn. That will allow the frame to relax a bit.

 

Looks sick! How is that light bar from behind the grill? I want one behind the grill or in the bumper.
