Nothing factory for early 2nd gens. However, I personally like the 2011 honeycomb grille.

 

My truck has only 81k on her, but have been considering a trade.
So many cool mods , those grilles are pretty neat.
So many tell me to not trade due to low miles.

 

I wouldn’t trade it up. Any newer gen 2 will be much the same. A 3rd gen has quite an updated interior, but I am not a fan of the 3.5L as you have to rev the engine quite a bit to get the rated power and torque.

 

You can choose the front end upgrade to newer year '12-'15 option then this grille will fit. Many members here did that upgrade.

I’m interested, is it very hard to install? Little nervous I just got the truck off the lot yesterday ‍♂️

 

Congrats on the new truck. What and year and trim did you pick up?

It is easy to install. When you open the hood, there are two 10mm bolts on top next to the radiator and 5 pop-clips (you pop up the center and the whole clip slides out)

Once the grille and bezel assembly is out, lay it down on a towel or very soft surface (avoid scratches) and there are about a dozen pressure clips on the backside that you must stick a small screw driver or any kind of flat pry device and release each one. The new grille will snap right into place. Just take and time and be gentle.

It’s a 2015 4x4 double cab short bed TRD sport, had every package I wanted except for the upgraded JBL audio system, came with a Bistein lift, not sure what it is just yet

Planning on taking all the badges off first thing after work today

Nice looking truck. All the specifications list the TRD Pro as a trim and the TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road as a package, which they are not. You'd think with the popularity of these trucks, they'd get it straight.

What packages did your truck come with? Although many here will venomously disagree, I feel the JBL system upgrade is overpriced garbage. The head unit is nothing to write home about. That was the first thing I did, ripped the stock junk out.

 

I only want the JBL audio system cause it comes with a 8inch sub that’s put away under the seat I really like how clean it is,

Just had to google what my truck came with, the dealer I bought it from didn’t know or atleast never bothered to show me
