@CaliRaisedLed you should start a new thread for your group buy. Because I would imagine that your announcement here could hijack OP's original thread.

Wow that’s very generous @CaliRaisedLed to knock $79 off the price for a group buy.

So my deal was on track and I was finalizing pricing with the manufacturer and @CaliRaisedLed lowered their price. I’m not gonna put in an order. They are making a ton off these grills. Mine would have been 80 per grill for a 50 unit order. I would imagine they are paying much less considering they can order a larger quantity. Once they jack the price back up like the 3rd gen grill, they will be making at least 200 a grill. My suggestion for everyone, just wait and they will be on eBay for much much less. You can get a 3rd gen grill for 100 or less now.

Do 'em like they did you and sell 'em for $175! I agree, they'll be cheap as shit in the near future.

To be honest I’d love to. I wasn’t going to make a killing at 219 but it was enough to try to make it work. It really only works on a large order. If I could order 200 or more then it would make sense. They will start dropping soon, someone will undercut them and the flood gates will open. That’s why they are doing the groupbuy, they got spooked that someone was pricing them lower and they want to make the money while they can. They are not exclusive and they know the enevitable will happen just like with the 3rd gen grills.

Gotta be honest, reading through the dumpster fire of their 3rd gen faux grille thread hasn't left me with a lot of confidence in the company. And it makes me wonder what and when I'll get my order.

Regardless I'll stick with it for now. If I get screwed out $200 I'll take it as a lesson and make sure no one I know spends a dime at that company as long as I can help it. But If it works out and I get a good grille, then the grilles get flooded to the market for less - oh well. At least I got a satisfactory product for a lot less than OEM.

Sub_Par if you do decide to place an order add me to the list, I'll still buy one of yours. You've been straight up since day one.

The issue is more them not being honest. They try to make it seem like they hired a manufacturer in China to reproduce grills specially for them. When in reality that just made a deal similar to what I was doing. They have more leverage because they can order in a bigger quantity and negotiate prices better. It’s also cheaper to ship to CA vs NY. You will get a grill and if it’s shit they will make it right. It’s just their customer service and advertising that leaves much to be desired. Just fucking own up to the fact that everything you sell is made in China and your logo is slapped on it. Isn’t the new American business strategy to buy cheap from China and then say hey we’re an American company?

Yeah, completely agree. They kind of make it seem like they designed it and contracted a manufacturer to make it for them when it really sounds more like all they did is find a seller on alibaba and make a bulk deal. The way others are sucking up to them in that thread is a little sickening though, I mean shit I know we live in a consumer driven society but... damn.

I just purchased a TRD pro grille with the painted bezel at the Dealer for my 2015 Tacoma. $650. Was very hard pressing that enter button on my computer!

    No USD.:(

I did not want any knock offs. I talked to a guy with a 3rd gen that bought a TRD Grille for his Tacoma and he had issues with quality.
