Also, has anybody attempted to fix this gap?

Unfortunately there currently is no option for yellow bulbs on these fog lights, and since TRS offers the yellow laminex, i dont think they will make these with yellow bulbs anytime soon.

Since these fog lights are a complete closed system, you wont be able to open them and swap out the bulbs unfortunately.

 

As for that gap, its just the way the fogs fit in there. But luckily if youre looking at it from the front, you dont see the gap.

 

I apologize, I misunderstood then. These are a great option still, especially for the price. I really like how they look black when they're off. Just wanted to find something with a little better fitment and a yellow option.

 

If anyone still looks at this thread, can anything be done about water in one of mine?

 

@CaptainMorgan Hey man quick question.......Do you or anyone for that matter know if the 3rd gen fog light housing fits a 2nd gen???

 

This use to happen to mine i eventually replaced them with morimoto leds

Hey! I'm gonna message you for options of fogs and headlights if you are still assembling these.

 

Contacted TRS for a replacement fog light, they said the OP has to take care of it.

With the OP missing in action, guess I wasted my money here. Good luck to all the others.

Years ago My father and I left to go hunting but couldn't see the fog was so thick, so I turned off the head lights. Even the low beams gave a large glare, and with the amber fog lights I could see well enough to drive 30mph to get us there, about 20 miles. We were the only ones on the road that morning.

 

They are DOT/SAE certified for road use. Diode Dynamics just released them. Order soon if you want a pair from the first few shipments.

 

TRS called me, and are replacing the fog light for me, even though CaptainMorgan should have taken care of it. But he's AWOL as far as I can find.
