My 2012 long bed has a low speed vibration that feels like the humm of aggressive mud tires. I have an OME leveling kit and BFG KO2’s. I thought the humm was from the KO2’s but my son put the same tires on his 2013 and his tires are quiet. I’m just starting to read of a couple likely causes for the vibration. I’m hearing needle bearings or carrier bearing height as the likely issues. Are there better needle bearings than OEM? Does the carrier bearing need to be lowered with a 3” lift? Any thread recommendations on the repairs appreciated.

Welcome to TW! Are you positive your KO2's are properly balanced? I think I remember seeing that that tire is one of the ones that can be difficult to balance.

Thanks for the help. Any suggestions on where I can find a tool to pull the needle bearing?
