Iv been lurking here for a wile and i took a look through the Bible and whatever relevant posts i could find about 4cyl towing but i feel i need a little advice/reassurance for my upcoming move.

Im looking to rent a 5x8 uhaul trailer to move from NY to FL. The trip is ~1300 miles over 18-20 hours at (hopefully) two 10 hour stints.
As of now my Taco has no towing accessories, i figured id get the hitch and wiring done sometime in advance at uhaul.

Im concerned that my Taco is unprepared for the trip what with posts about transmission coolers and brake controllers.

Any sage advice? My Taco needs to last another 25 years :D
