2012 Access Cab Base Tacoma Headlights

I see there is a great deal of information about headlight options and was considering having my 2012 base Tacoma headlight assemblies restored at Sams Club. My concern is only the top of the polycarbonate is faded but as part of the headlight restoration process, for lack of a better way to describe the process I am told they will prep the entire headlight to "blend" the restored finish all together. Any thoughts on the headlight restoration or even a recommendation to just change out the entire assembly. The bulbs work fine just wanted to improve the lighting and looks of the faded polycarbonate.
