I have low rolling resistence michelins on forged 15" motegi traklites that weight around 11 pounds. It's a regular cab, 4-cyl., (non-prerunner) just a basic truck to haul a motorcycle.

I know this posting is old, but I'm into the same crazy weight savings / gas efficiency mods.

Some call me the MPG Guru, some call me the Prophet of Efficiency lol

See my post that nobody could believe. I don't know how to post the link, but it's called "Blue Genie Hybrid"

I have the Double Cab 4x4, shortbed, automatic V6. Every tank fillup, I pull off 400 miles + using 87 Octane. My goal is 500 miles per tank.

They actually blocked my post, because they were jealous I was getting such great mileage...but some people can't handle the truth I guess.

Great to hear your mpg's are so high . Gives the rest of us hope that the mileage fairies will sprinkle its magic dust on my truck some night while I'AM sleeping . You must live on flat land , with no stop signs or other cars or people cutting in front of you . Where is this magical place that you speak so fondly of , is it the land of OZ .
