I feel like the price is pretty fair considering what you get. $1400 in suspension upgrades and $1000 in tires to mention some. Both installed in June as well as the NFabs. Plus the fact that you won't find many cleaner, better equipped Tacomas.
Plenty of power train warranty left and spotless carfax.
That being said, one can always make an offer...
    Thanks

Recently I was sent a letter from my local stealership promising me up to 28,000$ trade in. I have dclb but no entune, lift or tires (and i only have 20k miles on it but they don't know that). I'm using that as a guide........But while i have you here could i ask you a question, i love the way your truck looks and would eventually like to do the same to mine. Just curious on that tire size (275/70/17), if you have any rubbing issues and if so what did you have to do to fix it?......I wish you were a little closer to me, my nephew, who actually lives in pennsylvania is looking for a tacoma, and yours would be perfect!

    Too few to list.
I think that's a great price. Traded in my 2011 4x4 Sport DCLB with 36k, JBL, aftermarket wheels with 285's, no nav and dealer turned around and priced it for $29,995. Sold for $28.5k a week later.

The 275/70/17 is a 32" tire. No rubs, no trimming fender wells, no spacers, etc. It's the perfect size for the Tacoma IMO. With the 3" lift the 265s look a little small and most of the 285s look a little big. 285s also require spacers and some amount of wheel well trimming in most cases. The problem is there aren't many manufacturers making this size. Never was a fan of the BFG KO but when they came out with the KO2 and the reviews were great, I got em. No regrets. They are a little firm because they're 10 ply, but man are they quiet on the road!
    Hope this helps.

Awesome, that's exactly the info i was looking for!...I'm ok with adding the lift but just don't want to start hacking up a perfectly good truck to get a little bigger tires. I think your 275's look perfect in the wheel well. I think this end's my 3 1/2 years of searching TW for what i should do with lift and tire size! Thanks again for the info (and the pic) and good luck with the sale but i suspect it'll sell quickly, especially one as in good shape as yours!....and one last question, on the ome lift, what did you add in the rear? Dakars, add a leaf, etc...

Lol! I went through the same dilemma on tires. I bought the lift shortly after buying the truck but it took 1-1/2 years to decide on a tire. The lift sat in my shop in the boxes all that time. I ordered it from Toytec along with the UCAs. At the time they had an option for a 1-1/2" add-a-leaf for the rear and thats what I went with. It worked well with the "sport" OEM leaf pack (It has one more leaf than the "off road" package-go figure) . I also added the 1/4" spacer for the front which gives you a full 3" increase in height. The truck now measures a full extra 3" in the front and is 1/2" higher in the rear. If you lift over 2-1/2" you really need to go ahead and change the UCAs to get the alignment right. I, like you, researched all this to death on TW. Lots of knowledgeable guys here.
Hope that helps. Feel free to ask any more questions you might have.
    Later and good luck!

PS- I made a video "walk around" of my truck but it's too large to post here. If anyone would like to see it just PM me and I'll email it.
    Thanks

Lol, i see alot of people on here not being able to decide so i don't feel too bad! I was already planning on going the OEM route and UCAs but the rear was up in the air. Thanks again for all of the info, you def got me itching to do the lift and tires now! I feel like i can finally move forward!....but, just one more question, did you have any vibes after installing the lift? and did you do the CB drop or the axle shims? I know the geometry will be a little different, my long bed compared to a short bed, but we have the same model year so might as well ask. That's my only concern with the lift. Gonna do it anyway and see what happens but i so hope i don't have a major problem with vibes. I see some guys on here who have had a lot of problems......

lol, and one final question, did your gas mileage decrease a lot with the 275's?.....

I did do the diff drop kit. Also from Toytec, no vibs whatsoever.
No good news on the gas mileage question. I lost about 2-3 mpg on average driving. Haven't been on any road trips since the lift so don't know about hwy. The tires are pretty heavy. 55 lbs I think.

Thats great, and promising to me, you had no vibes but yeah, the gas milage loss is pretty big. 55 lbs is a lot but then again it is a 10 ply tire. It looks awesome though no matter what the gas mileage is! lol I might look around for a lighter tire but it's for sure it'll be a 275/70. I could also settle with the KO's though, they really look great, besides being a good tire......Once again I really appreciate your feed back! Def got me going in the right direction after all this time!.....Watch out, next it'll be a build page! lol

You realize that those offers to buy trade in vehicles are literally sent by the hundreds as a way to drum up new car sales, and that the figures they "offer" have pretty much zero meaning behind them, right? Every month someone posts about these offers being received in the mail, they're marketing tools. They don't know what your truck is and they don't care, the number they provide is as arbitrary as your information in their computers saying what you drive and what to print on a card and send to you.

Drop by one day and see what they will give you for your truck with 20k miles. It won't be 28k!

Good luck with the sale OP.
