Coming home from work tonight, 52 degrees, cut the radio on and nothing on the screen, just audio. None of the controls for the stereo worked, but the steering wheel controls worked fine. After the stereo "warmed up" because mine does get warm after being on a while, the display came on, but the screen froze, and the stereo controls randomly worked. This went on for 45 minutes, and then magically, it began working as normal. This is an all factory set up. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

My 2010 does random weird stuff. Not the same as yours, but assorted other defects. The wife's Corolla had the radio replaced under warranty. The replacement has started having issues also.

Notice a pattern? I have an aftermarket awaiting some time to install it.

Only issue I've had was on the way home from work the other morning the GPS was showing my truck about 5 miles from its actual position. I pulled out my phone and it was acting weird also with the GPS on it. Don't know what was going on but it lasted about 30 mins and then corrected itself. Been fine the last few days so I'll keep a eye on it.

Yep, getting a Pioneer double din this holiday, just pisses me off that it's only a year and a half old and having issues like that. These factory HU's are crap, when I first got the truck, I noticed after driving for longer than an hour, the screen would be hot, like hotter than it should be. I have a video of all this but I have no idea how to post it.

The factory radio in my 2010 has been cutting off randomly. I'm not sure if this is due to the extreme cold, but it just started after my 55,000 service appointment. At 55k obviously I'm no longer under warranty. Crap.

Basically I'll be driving and it just shuts off. If I hit the power button again, it comes right back on, but a bit concerning. Anyone else seen this? Maybe I need a new fuse or something?
