    F1 Qualifying was pretty cool

Vettel takes pole , Hamilton 2nd , Alonso in 3rd

Massa will line up directly in front of me

Maldonado's touch on Champions' Wall and spin was pretty cool to see , impressed he was able to keep it out of the opposite wall .

Should be a great day tomorrow

Formula 1600 race coming up now

    Later

    Awesome weekend

Too bad Alonso's tires gave up , great podium for Perez

On the tarmac in front of the podium ceremony there was a big contingent of Mexican fans whooping it up and singing " Ole " for Perez

Watching the race now. If I didnt know the end result of this race I would say Alonso is looking good ahead of Ham and Vet before he pitted himself. Damn he just ended up ahead him after he pitted wow.

Alonso's tires died about 8 laps earlier than Ferrari had hoped

Great race though , awesome experience

If Alonso had got in a couple qwik laps and pitted after Louise had his pit botched, I believe he would have come out just in front the Mclaren and the race wuz his. yes no maybe

Great race! Hope you had fun Oz. Disappointed to see Alonso's tires give out early. This year is shaping up great so far, entertaining.

Looks like a good time Oz. During the race how do you keep up with what's going on? I'm used to keeping track of the roundy-rounders but I've only been to one road course (Trans-Am) and it was confusing. Did you have a scanner or some such to listen to the race broadcast or the team communications? Keeping up with all of the different team strategies during a Grand Prix would be mind boggling.

There are speakers at the front of the grandstands and track announcers doing a play by play , also there are huge screens showing the world TV feed , I basically saw the exact same video as anyone watching it on TV saw .

You could also rent small wireless TV monitors , similar to the ones I think you can get at NASCAR events to track everything , but I didn't get one .
