Renault has given all the teams running their engines a new spec alternator, that they say they fixed. They were able to choose before, with redbull running the older spec. Now its mandatory for the teams to all run the new spec alt. We'll see what happends tomorrow.

 

Yeah , I watched Speed's coverage of FP2 and F1 Debrief too

You missed Will Buxton's point though , that the " new spec " alternator replaces the " new spec " alternator that replaced the " problem " alternator

The issue has occurred through three revisions of the alternator , they said they had the issue resolved the last two times as well .

 

I think that Ferrari has both cars set up in wet weather trim , Sunday will be intetesting

Good run by Hulk so far. For a second there I thought Webber was going to take Vettel out. Waiting to hear if Vettel passed on a yellow; I thought they said he was under investigation.

 

Pass was legal. Really hoping that Alonso can somehow pull it out..

 

Great race, great season as a whole.

 

Great race , I thought it was over for Vettel when he got turned around on the first lap , he was lucky to escape with as little damage as he did .

Happy that Ferrari took 2nd in the Constructors , that moves their pit box up a spot and directly in front of my seats for Montreal 2013

 

Sad its over for the year.

Sucks to see Alonso loose so close again.

They say they will have over 100hrs of f1 programing but by my calculations, I hope more than means 40hrs more cause that's what it comes out to with practices, qualifing, pre-coverage & the races and that's not counting the studio shows that may or may not be in their lineup

I see the BBC feed up here for qualifying and races but counted on Speed for practice and Debreif

 

That's because Speed ( now NBC ) holds the US rights to broadcasting

In Canada , TSN holds the Canadian F1 broadcasting rights , and they run the BBC feed , Speed is blacked out

TSN doesn't show FP2 here though , so Speed was not blacked out during practice

 

NBC Sports Group signed a four-year deal. NBC said it plans to broadcast more than 100 hours worth of coverage in 2013, including practice, qualifying and races, split between its own cable channel, NBC Sports Nework, and its standard NBC outlet. Additionally, it announced that it will stream all 20 races live via its NBC Sports Network Extra outlet available on nbcsports.com, allowing fans to watch the action via computer, mobile phone or tablet device.

That sucks , I can't get NBC Sports Network

 

Most of it is live at 2 , 3 and 4am , I record it on my PVR

 

Watched one of Miami's games this year on ESPN3, by disconnecting my PC monitor and plugging in to a TV, wasn't that bad.

 

Doesn't alter the point that the F1 stuff is usually on when I'm asleep though
