Negative. They're driving it in tomorrow morning about 100 miles. (Think I should tell 'em to put it on a flat bed?!) I'm not too concerned because I can always have it added. Seems to be hit or miss from the responses here though.

I have the TSB on my '10 and like it. I had just over a ton of retaining wall in the back of that truck this year and it barely sagged...

Thanks for the replies. Looking forward to the 2012...:D

I wouldn't say they suck. Just that they are perfectly adequate. I'll be upgrading, but I'm not in a rush.

2012 DCSB TRD Offroad with tow package - 3 leaf pack.

I'm curious. What are the pros and cons of 3 vs 4?

Sounds to me like the Sports have it and the OR's do not. Not sure I know why. People with Sport models haul more...?

I've had both the three and 4. Not much of a difference in ride quality but the 4 leafs help immensely when towing or hauling. I think the truck handles better, too. Tons of information here on the forum. Type in "Leaf TSB."

Unfortunately as Petey North has stated if you haul with regularity the 4 leaf pack will eventually sag.

The softer non-TSB leaf flexes better, so Toyota may have decided to keep it on TRD OR trucks. TRD OR also has a softer sway bar.

I just bought the 2012 dc-or 4x4 and have 3 leaf with Bilstiens on the rear. It did bottom out this weekend with about 200 pounds in the bed.

It isn't 3 vs. 4 as much as quality vs. junk in the spring leaf itself.

I have had bad 3 pack that allowed my 2005 DC truck to bottom with camping loads or just back seat passengers!!! That needed the TSB, but it wasn't made known to me, so I paid for Ride Rite Air Bags to be added... problem solved!

My identicle 2010 DC truck also has 3 leaves... but guess what? NO BOTTOMING at all, with big loads or back seat passengers... So, they do have better quality leaf springs... I am amazed that either I got super lucky or that Toyota still is using junk 3 packs but just on some new trucks!

Here is a photo of the left side 2010 leaf showing the part number:

2012 dcsb off road 3 leaf pack - no doubt for added flex over 4 leaf pack.

I have not had a load in the bed yet but with me standing and jumping in the bed (220lbs) it barely squats.

This is going to sound like a dumb question...but wouldn't they have put the four leaf pack on the off-road editions instead of the sport editions? I thought the off-road editions were supposed to have a firmer ride..and wouldn't four leafs do this better than three?..
