I bought a Sprint Booster for my truck 4 years ago and after a frustrating attempt to install it then, it went in the drawer of misc. truck parts and stayed there. Since I've been working on various things for the last week, I thought I'd try it again. It quickly came back to me why I didn't get it installed last time...

There's a switch that is directly in the way of adding the plug-in to the throttle pedal (see video)

What I'd like to know is, is this bracket/switch something specific to Canadian trucks? Anyone else run into this? And, does anyone know if there's a difference between '12 & '13 trucks in this regard?
I'm curious about a 12-13 difference because my truck was built extremely late in the year... most date codes on parts/wiring harnesses are mid-late June '12. It is prewired for the thumbwheel style seat heater switches that the '13s have (and they're live) and I'm wondering if it's built with other potential '13 components...

I've already considered moving the switch and cutting the tang off the e-brake bracket: won't work because the arm itself will still hit.
Moving the throttle pedal assembly out wouldn't help (it would still hit), moving it to the right won't work because the e-brake cable is there, moving it down would make usage difficult and/or dangerous. I took the side off the throttle pedal where the plug is to see if I could modify that aspect, and that's the side that senses pedal movement (and it's sealed up tight) so no-go.

My thoughts at the moment are: does Sprint Booster make one that has an immediate 90° right hander? That would work for my application. Or, do I have a different throttle than I'm supposed to?

It's a manual, so hand operated.
You'd think they would be aware of the difference and potential interference...
