    The gap between the spindle can't change... The wheel is bolted to the axle which is bolted to the spindle which cannot change .... I worried about the spacers causing vibration though... BTW as long as you have gap between the spindle and wheel it will never rub... Unless the wheel or stub axle comes loose... THEN it will rub......Hope this helps...

    Agreed. OP, if the rim doesnt rub, i really wouldnt worry about it. For me, i ran kmc enduros without spacers but when i got the spindles, they rubbed on the caliper so i got spacers. Just make sure when you get spacers, be sure you get ones like spidertrax because they are hubcentric and they will keep the wheel more balanced.

    The spindles themselves wont cause any vibes, its the spacers if you put thsm on that can cause it. Again, be sure to get hubcentrics.

    Thanks guys i understand the rim wont rub my concern is my tire is really close to the spindle aswell and when i do the jump to 285s it seems like they would rub since there wider? I was running spyder trax but just took em off and now it seems way close
