Being from Houston I guarantee you they will. There are a ton of alumni in the Houston area. Plus one game in Tiger Stadium and you won't want to be anywhere else

Mississippi State has a well known forestry program and a developed Forestry college where LSU has a degree plan based out of their Agriculture college if I remember correctly. And I couldn't stand the thought of living in Baton Rouge. I want to get out of bigger cities and go to a (relatively) small university. I looked hard at Auburn and UGA but both are hella far from home and too expensive.

Plus, I know I'll get out of state tuition covered at MSU with my current GPA of 3.39 out of 4.0 and if I get a 26 on the ACT composite score. I got a 23 last time and taking again Saturday during the MSU-AUB game

I was told that about Bryant-Denny when I was visiting my sister on a "College visit" last year before Thanksgiving.

I have a buddy that got a forestry degree from LSU. And the city can be as big or small as you make it. I love Baton Rouge

I'm not dissing the program, it's better than most offered here in Texas, but it isn't perceived by most people to be as good as the one in Starkville. :notsure: MSU has a fantastic program and came up first on my google search two years ago  And I've lived in the Houston area all of my life, tired of the hustle and everybody freakin everywhere.

Yeah, but NFL quarterbacks don't talk about how it's still the loudest place they have ever played

I don't think Tebow ever played in Bryant-Denny

Of the loudest? I think we do. Call me when a seismograph picks up your cheering

Call me when a seismograph picks up noise levels and not vibration

LSU had the record at 121 decibels which was broken in 2005 in Clemson with a level of 126 or so decibels...I think it's been broken a couple of times since then

Cool. All I know is we are consistently ranked as the loudest stadium in the country and I'm there every week so that's all that matters to me

Oh as an avg noise level I'm sure Tiger Stadium has it...but as far as record recorded decibel levels...I don't think they do

And let's be honest...you being there doesn't give any proof one way or another unless you're also at the other stadiums on a regular basis...I can sit here and tell y'all the same thing from the Clemson perspective because I go to almost all the home games (didn't miss one between 1996-2007) but without visiting other stadiums...that info is useless

What I will tell you is Williams-Brice is not that loud for its size...I was unimpressed with Georgia, Auburn, and FSU stadiums as well

The OLD Orange Bowl was awesome...and Tiger Stadium is on my list of stadiums to visit

Oh yeah, the Earthquake game of 88. LSU won on a late TD pass over Auburn 7-6.

He is right, though... Sanford is not the loudest around - but one of the best looking w/ the best looking ladies...:D

I was in the Swamp when a friend of mine took an official visit to see the UF/FSU game and it was quite a loud place...However, he didn't like UF and went on to play for ND and then the Bills and finally the Giants...

I hear ya..... The GT triple option scheme was pretty much nullified by Bud Foster's defensive set up. I think the key to blowing that whole scheme is penetration by your defensive tackles and nose guards into the A and B gaps. Once that is clogged in a hurry it creates too much disorganization in the backfield and you can basically shut the triple option down. And if they do get the pitch off if you have even semi-fast defensive ends which we do you can just about always shut the outside lane down. The only thing they really got us on was their passing.

Yeah, their passing game was a little surprise. It shocked me that he could actually complete one - gotta love that interception he threw...shades of reggie ball!
