Yeah... Not sure where the 7pt dog line came from... All I've heard is 17 (I think 16 this AM) point favorite. Might be taking ULM + the points on that one.

It's hard to believe that Frazier is the best QB option down there. The Cheese has had plenty of time, and has touted plenty of top recruiting classes. Fewer and fewer excuses left.

It's becoming more and more apparent that, despite what auburn fans allowed me to say during the year, the 2010 season was all Cam.

FWIW, I hope the fambly stays all-in w/ Chizik for years to come. I've enjoyed the last two seasons immensely.

No shit, maybe the towel waver should look around the local high schools for a QB, couldn't be any worse.

It was mostly all Cam, but with a pretty fair O-line.

The last two, or last, and two games of this season?

Wasn't impressed with my Ducks Saturday.

Can't believe we lost John Boyett for season :( :pout:

"Oregon senior John Boyett told the Napa Valley Register on Sunday that he will undergo surgery on both knees, effectively ending his senior season and his career with the Oregon Ducks".

    Fresno played pretty good ball.

For Mizzery - Welcome to Georgia football!!!! :p

Personally I think they looked like shit. Sluggish and unmotivated. They need to step it up against 'Zona. Pac12 is starting to get interesting. You can't rely on Barner and Thomas for everything.

    Wilner, San Jose Mercury

Saturday, 7 a.m.: The Pac12Nets have landed a carriage deal with DISH Network, it appears to be exclusive (i.e., prohibits DirecTV from showing the networks).

News release says: “DISH signs multi-year deal as only satellite provider of Pac-12 Networks.”

Games will be available today. DISH is offering a free preview of the networks for a limited time to all customers. They are available in America’s Top 120+ package and above for customers in Pac-12 territory and available nationwide in the Multi-Sport Pack for $9 per month, according to the league …

The agreement allows DISH subscribers to enjoy the hundreds of live sporting events, including 35 football games, more than 140 men’s basketball games, and hundreds of national championship caliber Olympic sporting events this season on Pac-12 Networks. Included in the lineup of football games will be multiple appearances by No.2 USC, No. 4 Oregon and No. 25 Stanford.

The new agreement also provides DISH with exclusive category sponsorship for Pac-12 athletic programs. The sponsorship includes stadium signage and logo rights with each of the member schools including:

“DISH is delighted to offer our customers more than 800 sporting events available on Pac-12 Networks each year, while giving them a great value,” said Dave Shull, DISH senior vice president of programming. “This is a great partnership with the Pac-12 that goes beyond the TV screen to the campuses in the form of an exclusive sponsorship to support the programs and the students.”

They're piling on auburn on local radio here, as you can imagine. Something I didn't realize...

In their previous 7 SEC games (dating back to Arkansas last year), auburn is 2-5 with wins over Ole Miss and Florida, and losses to
    • Arky (by 24)
    • La State (by 35)
    • Georgia (by 38)
    • Alabama (by 28)
    • Miss State (by 18).

So wins over two bad teams, and blowout losses to everybody else. There were only four offensive touchdowns combined in the 5 losses, with zero coming in the Alabama or MSU games.

They have La State and Arky coming up after this week's game against La Monroe (who just beat Arky), so AT BEST they're going to start 1-4 this year. (I think they end up 5-7... again, at best).

I really don't know how much longer Chizik will keep his job w/ piss-poor performance like this, even with his 2010 SECC and NC rings. They're talking about how he has a $7.5m buyout this year, which could be what keeps him around... for now.

Here is something I stumbled across this morning, thus far this season conference wise:

    13 of 14 scoring offense
    13 of 14 scoring defense
    Last total offense
    Last total defense
    Last rushing defense
    13 of 14 Pass offense
    Last Pass effec
13 of 14 defense pass effec
    Opponents first downs Last
    13 of 14 3rd down conversions

Thank God for Kentucky, or would that be Ole Miss.

He was fucking 2-10 at IOWA STATE. His record as a head coach is, what, 35-31 now with most of those wins in 1 season. It amazes me he got a HC position in the SEC.

    Only the boogs.....

He was 2-10 in his last year there... He was 5-19 combined in his two seasons.

He is 35-31 overall as a coach. Interestingly, he's never lost a bowl game with wins in the Outback Bowl (over Northwestern in OT), the BCS NC Game and last year's Chick-fil-a Bowl.

You can't really take away Cam Newton, b/c he did recruit (or pay to get) Cam to auburn, but if you break his record between Cam and non-Cam you get:

    • 14-0 with Cam
    • 21-31 without Cam

It's unlikely that another Cam is walking through the tunnel at auburn any time soon... How much more .400 football will it take to get a new coach on the plains?

I honestly don't know what to think, wasn't my choice when he was hired. Had a better than expected (for me at least) first year with nothing much there, as Tubby pretty much left he cupboard bare. Fell bass ackwards in with Cam and had a good run. Didn't really expect much last year, (38 kids gone from championship team). Recruited pretty well for a couple of years, but haven't seen any benefits from it. New OC and DC, but strangely, it all looks the very same.

All true, but at Auburn he's 30-12 at .714%. You can't really bring in Iowa St in to the mix can you, after all what was Spankys' record while at Miami? On the bowl thing, pretty sure he's never lost a bowl game even as a coordinator.
