Never said they didn't deserve credit, and yes they are good but they aren't upper tier, just so in the weak ass PAC. I make no excuses for our losses, but would be willing to bet on those two. What gets me are the westies who claim the PAC is almighty. Good? Yes. Great? No.

Until the ducks, get off the pond, come down to the SEC and beat a RESPECTABLE SEC team, they need to STFU. Sorry Georgia, you arent there yet. Better, but there is no FEAR there. Bama walked in to the Georgia Dome and y'all tried the "black out" trick and got that hiney handed to ya.

To ALL Oregon Ducks fans: Go quickly, and write your AD a letter. Beg him to send your precious football team to Bryant-Denny, or Baton Rouge. Tell him to send the team with ALL of your uniforms...that way you can try to change your appearance. Get all the tricks out of the way. Now, you dont get to just play one game. You need to play at least SIX. Because thats what every team in the SEC goes through. If you wanna brag and boast like the big boys can, you have to play the teams that the big boys do. I havent YET seen a single player on ANY defense outside of the SEC hit as hard as Alabama's last RUNNING BACK!!! Seriously, the SEC is Div 1. Everyone else is Div 2.

Argue all you want. I have 6 BCS NCG in a row backing me up. If try to argue with that, then your simpleton mindset will surely show.

Guys, any team can win any given Saturday. Look at Iowa State over OSU this past season. Oklahoma and Baylor or Oklahoma and Texas Tech. Kentucky and Tennessee. Auburn over South Carolina. Upsets happen. Bama is more likely to win but I wouldn't doubt that Oregon couldn't win. Look back to Bama's 2010 season, I was at the damn iron bowl that year, anything can happen.

Im not big on WWE, formerly WWF but, didn't Rick Flair say, "To be The Man, you have to beat The Man!"

That's really all I'm saying here. Oregon fans are pissing and moaning all over the place about wanting respect. They haven't beaten a good SEC team. PERIOD. If you want respect, do something respectable. Putting up an 11-1 season in the PAC 30 is no big deal.

Ohio State better go undefeated in the Big 10 this year. Same with Michigan. Their only loss this year should be to each other. I wish they could both lose to each other. They aren't respected anymore. They can't even run the table IN THEIR CONFERENCE...and yet they need to just to get to the NCG. THAT'S how flaky every other conference is.

Now, with all of this big talk, I am under complete understanding that times will change. The other conferences will come around and the SEC will be 2nd in the standings. That is also my point. Until Oregon, or Boise St. Knock off the SEC, and in an impressive way, they aren't feared or respected to ANY college football fan. Go ask Nebraska or Wisconsin if they would be intimidated. Nope. They know they can win against either of those teams. Hell, I'd even put Florida St. on that list.

OSU sucks, just like the Ducks...they strung together a few wins against sub-par teams and thought they were the shit.

Baylor housed the Heisman Trophy Winner, not much else needed there to prove.

Texas Tech has good players left over from last coach. They also play well when playing decent teams.

Kentucky vs. Tennessee?!? Wow, the battle of teeth. Neither one of those teams are good, and haven't been. (Kentucky never)

Auburn had ONE good player, and he left, South Carolina should have won that game considering they have one of the best coaches to walk a sideline.

Your examples suck. Not trying to be so combative, but they truly do. The only example that seems decent is the OSU vs. Iowa St. But that example actually shows that these teams who are whining for respect can't even finish a season correctly. AND they play POWDER PUFF teams.

I'm not saying that Oregon is the greatest, but they should be respected and I know I wouldn't want to play them on a regular basis. I never said they were in a better conference than the SEC, all I said was that they beat some good teams and deserve respect. And for the record, I am in no way a duck fan, I just think that certain contributors to this thread have no room to talk when stating that Oregon is a bad team or didn't play against any good teams last year.

If those examples suck, look back to South Carolina vs Bama 2010. Bama was heavily favored bit was pummeled. A trip back to 1989 and look at Southern Miss over Florida State. Or let's look at Southern Miss over Houston this year. Another good Bama one would be the loss to Georgia Tech in 1981. How about Utah over Bama in the Sugar bowl in 2008, do I need to continue?

Lousiana Tech beat Bama 29-28 in Birmingham. Bama's been upset a lot.

Oh geezus, what in the hell are you yapping about? As Roll Tide said, the ducks play a powder puff schedule. Who, besides USC, is worth a damn this year? Not Stanford without luck. Def not cal or ucla, or Washington state or Oregon state... The fact remains is that for the majority, they play shit teams without a D. It's easy to put up gaudy numbers when you play teams with NO defense. NONE. Run them through the sec and see what happens - sure they may beat the dregs like Kentucky, ole miss, and the few others - they may come out at .500. Hell, lsu's d lineman ran down their much ballyhooed RB from behind twice in the game... Oh well, such is the life of a delusional duck...

I'm not a duck, my sister goes to Bama, and I'm hoping to scrape the money together to go to Mississippi State. I was finding examples of great upsets since the first group of upsets I found were crappy. And who knows how good any team will actually be this coming season? For all you and anyone else knows, Ole Piss could run the table and win the National title. And I am sure that the ducks would have easily won the SEC east this past year.

I'll give pre runner the east...they were kinda lame...come Georgia and SC...I really wish the SEC would get Florida State...instead of Texas A&M or Missouri....
