I know many may not care but I found this pretty cool. Right now probably my favorite singer is Jason Aldean. Just saw pics of him on a UGA fan page with a "G" on his guitar strap and as it turns out he is a huge UGA fan. So for the UGA fans on here that like country music this is cool.

I've also heard that Lady Antebelum are fans.

    JASON ALDEAN
    Profession: Singer
    Obsession: University of Georgia football
On being raised a Bulldogs fan: "As a kid in Macon, I had all the Georgia gear, including the plastic helmet. For me -- for the whole state -- football was about watching Herschel Walker play. He was a specimen."
On singing for the enemy: "One of my guitar straps has a bright red 'G' on it. If I'm in an SEC town like Gainesville or Baton Rouge, there's no mercy."
On game-day gigs: "If we can blow off sound check, make it to the game and be back in time for our concert, that's absolutely happening. Thing is, if you tailgate, you're not in the same shape you were when you left. It makes for an interesting show."

If he actually sang country music, it would be cool. He's classified as country, but his music is about as country as 50 cent.

Not much "country music" is country music anymore. I miss the old days of country music.

BACK ON TOPIC...I really can't wait til football season. First preseason Falcons game is in like 51 days...that'll tide me over til real football season.

Well call it what you may, I like it. I know it's not true country anymore but rock isn't rock anymore either imo. To me today's country is kinda more of rock with a country theme.

What I do find funny is that everyone I know that doesn't like country says it's depressing and always about losing your truck, house, dog, or wife.

Matt brings up a good point

Please refrain from posting pics that may be questionable

I'm gonna say cheerleaders are ok IF they're in their uniforms...everything else needs to go somewhere else

I don't want to kill the fun of the thread... I work in an office setting for a pretty conservative company, and my computer screens face a direction where people can see my computer before I can see them coming.

I can manage my own situation... I was just making a statement.

    Thanks South Carolina!!!

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...2-recruits-you-should-be-excited-about/page/4

"The Virginia Tech Hokies are losing their two all-time leading receivers now that Danny Coale and Jarrett Boykin have graduated. However, there's a new guy to be excited about. Hailing from Calhoun County High School in St. Matthews, South Carolina, Mark Irick is a big target at 6'3". Irick has good speed and solid hands as well."

It's still pushing the boundaries of the code of conduct, and I've been letting it go...sooo....yeah...

but again...be mindful of the questionable in nature part of the code of conduct :)

Or better yet...start a thread somewhere other than the main forum

I hope the Jackets don't win a game this year. That includes losing to Duke.
