They should have a full tank, 4 gallons? That's almost empty for goodness sake!

And they made me drive 35 minutes back to reprogram a key a week later and they filled it up again.....but that wasn't their idea. ;)

You won't regret it. Only thing I would've changed was a manual (which was on the web, but not yet on the lot) and I wanted grey....but it had steel wheels and no tow pkg. couldn't do it.

Now with the saved money I'll be picking up an ARE cap in a few weeks!

And we got 2% on our loan.

Stay ready to walk away, and do all your numbers on a spread sheet. I mean all the package $ and how each dealer differs on all of it.

If you like the numbers he gives you, then say it's a deal with TRD seat covers or mats! (my brother has the same truck 05 and got both that way)

Good luck on buying your truck. And sorry for the novel.

For those it might help, just bought my truck in RI (region seems to matter):

$30,675 + TTL. This included a $156 "swap fee" to get the NBM color I wanted from inventory in another MA dealersip (no big deal, I usually compete dealerships long distances and saved time and gas).

Also included was the Northeast Region "TDA", or about $428 of Toyota Dealer Advertising assessed to every Tacoma here. I could not avoid paying that fee; although I walked out on day 1 and they called back next day willing to meet halfway by increasing trade-in value $214 on my Ford.

If you have incentives--such as military or college grad--these can be applied as well. I got an additional $1000 off following rebate, for $29,675 + TTL final. You will have to couple with Toyota Financing, but my rate was negotiated to 2.49%.

    Good luck to those shopping.

$32500 for a 2012 DC LB Sport 4x4 + towing & no NAV in Ontario Canada. Sticker says $35050.

Seems fair since everything in Canada is more expensive... price dropped from the 2011... can't remember how much, plus with the updated interior/ radio/ etc. I feel like I was getting a deal before haggles. BONUS.

quesiton: is entune available in canada? It was never in the discussion... does anybody know?

Mountain dog you need to put the lipstick away for photos.

Just bought mine last week in Cali. 2012 DCLB SR5 2 wheel drive, with tow package and cool back up camera! 26900 using USAA for help. Got .79 interest with NFCU and senior enlisted advisor program. But taxes in Cali are stupid. 8.75 so increase said amount by that much.

I financed through Toyota, no entune here all the ones my dealers had came with the sport package and the chrome rims which i wasn't to fond of. Traded in my Colorado but already had the truck price set at 29990 before i went in there with my trade.

My Colorado was an OK truck, served me well but had its share of issues, which seems like all vehicles do. It was just time to move on and i actually looked into getting a silverado since i have always been a GM truck guy. I went and looked at the Tacoma's just to see, drove it and that's what i bought. I love this thing it just feels so much more well built in areas that my Colorado or the Silverado i looked at didn't. Hopefully the Tacoma will do well for me, getting on here and reading through these frame failure, rear end failure, i hate my pos Toyota threads can make you think otherwise. But this is a forum and you get that on all car forums since its a concentrated group of people owning the same truck. There are some things i notice that my colorado has that the Tacoma doesn't: Fully boxed frame, tailgate lock, all my switches were back-lit, cargo lights and my tailgate was a beast compared to the taco's. Just a few minor gripes other then that i absolutely love driving this truck, hopefully it doesn't make me regret leaving GM.
